On Omegaman radio one night there was
a guest named Benjamin Baruch. He was teaching us about the four fold
attack of the Devil. Ever since this, I've seen the truth of his
teaching in my life and it has helped me to understand the nature of
the enemies' wiles (Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil).
The front attack is when
the Devil tries to thwart us through our intellect. This snares many
people today as they are relying on their own intellect to explain
this existence. Truth is our intellect is limited and conditional,
and that some people are very intelligent, this doesn't make them
wise with Godly wisdom (Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding).
The attack from the left,
is the lusts of this world. Pleasure, sex, fame, money, sensual and
selfish gain is what the Devil tries to tempt us with from the left
side attack. Of course in the occult, the left handed path means the
path of darkness, which they think is light, but is actually the path
of rebelliousness and evil. This attack gets many people snared in
the bondage of sin, whether it's porn, drugs, fornication, adultery,
or any other iniquities that appeal to the carnal man ( Mark 4:19 And
the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the
lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh
unfruitful).
The third attack is from
the back. This is the Devil bringing up the past, making you feel
ashamed and burdened with all the sin you have committed in the past.
Although a Christian has been forgiven, the Devil knows he can bring
up the past and exploit any weaknesses that are not fully healed yet.
There is un-forgiveness for ourselves and others, bad habits, haunting
traumas, and generational curses that all have to be dealt with in
order to successfully overcome this attack from the rear ( Romans 8:1
There is therefor now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit./ 1John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness).
The fourth, Benjamin
explained, is the most damaging, as hard as that is to believe. This
is the attack from the right, which is the attack from those who are
the brethren. This attack from fellow believers who are struggling
with their own demons and sins, will catch the believer off guard and
hurt them the worst. This attack is usually committed by people who
have religious demons and can not be helped because they believe a
Christian can not have a demon. They are full of false doctrine and
are self-righteous and perfect in their own eyes. They will accuse
everyone else but themselves of being in the wrong, their
pridefulness and haughtiness snares them ( 2 Peter 2:1 But there were
false prophets among the people, even as there shall be false
teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves
swift destruction).

These are the four attacks
the Devil and his workers use to exploit and attack Christian
believers. It is a simple strategy and has worked very well
throughout all the years he has used them on us. The worst thing to
do is to be ignorant of the Devil's wiles, and so be caught unaware
and be snared. The biggest obstacle I believe most Christians have, is
not believing there are demons, and that they can have them. Although
a born-again Christian cannot be possessed by demons, they can have
them residing in their bodies and souls. Their Spirit cannot be a
residence for demons, but these other areas are. This is why there is
so much sin among Christians today. They refuse to look at the
possibility that they have demons and need deliverance (2 Timothy
2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare if the
devil, who are taken captive by him at his will).
If we are aware of the wiles
of the Devil, then we will not be caught unaware. We can finally see
the nature of this existence in the supernatural and learn how to not
take things personally and to love our enemies. Even those who
spitefully use us, because they are actually simply being used as
tools for the demons to wreak havoc. We must love the person beyond
the demons, and know they are held captive by this evil force. We
need to try and help them overcome these demons, so they can be free
and do the will of God. Christians must learn about demons and that
as Christians we have authority to cast them out in Jesus name (
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that
curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefuly use you, and persecute you./ Mark 16:17-18 And these
signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover).
If a sincere Christian doesn't
believe they can have demons, and they also don't believe the gifts
are at work in the modern day church, then they are powerless in the
battle. These kind of Christians are the ones that will attack from
the right side. They are being used like tools by the Devil to sow
discord and confusion among the brethren with false doctrine. These
kind of Christians may sincerely believe in Jesus Christ, but they
have religious demons which are snaring all those who they influence
( Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for
ever).
We Christians who understand the
nature of demons and believe the gifts of the Holy Ghost are in use
today, we need to exhort, reprove, and help those who are in error
with long-suffering and patience in love. We need to fight the urge
to be offended and remember we are not fighting against flesh and
blood, but this is a spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle
not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places).
The demons who are in other
people, whether Christians or not, know when a person who is aware of
the nature of demons comes around. They rarely come into contact with
a human who knows that they exist and are at work, so they become
very defensive and influence the people they are in to try and get
away from us or be rude to us, in order for those who are in bondage
to them do not escape. They know that if we have the chance, we will
try and make the people they are in become aware that they are there,
and then teach them how to get them out. Then these demons will have
to leave, because they know we have authority given to us in Jesus
name. They will do anything they can to avoid this scenario ( Mark
1:34 And he healed many that were sick of diverse diseases, and cast
out many devils, and suffered not the devils to speak, because they
knew him).
Christians who don't believe the
gifts are in operation today, and don't believe Christians can have demons, are very weak in the battle. The demons aren't worried about
them when they come around, and even find it fun to manipulate them to turn on other Christians, or giving Christianity a bad name
as a bad example to the unbeliever. Christians who don't have any
knowledge of the nature of demons and think the gifts of the Holy
Ghost are not for modern Christians, end up an enemy of the
Christians in the battle for souls. They are actually so double minded,
they eventually will turn on their own ranks and start attacking the
true believers, thus helping the Devil win the battle ( Hosea 4:6 My people
are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected
knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to
me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also
forget thy children).
See, some people may get very
angry about this post, and what I'm saying here. The thing I know, is
it isn't them that are mad, but the demons inside them telling them
that I'm some hateful person, or some judgmental person. Whatever the
demons can tell them to manipulate and malign my character to make it
seem like they are right and I'm the one in deep confusion. Yet, all
I'm doing is reading the Bible and believing what it says. The Bible
is not of any private interpretation. We are to be like-minded and
the Devil is the author of confusion. I'm just keeping it really
simple, the Bible says it, I believe it. If you want to be a help in
the battle, then you would do the same, and if you are one that is
attacking fellow Christians from the right, you better accept this
reproof before God deals with you (2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation).
Philippians 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that
ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one
mind.

Amen! Thank you for your post, informing the church of the full gospel in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Praise God!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fawn, for coming by and amen, this is a teaching that needs to sink in for Christians. And non-believers need to take note, that there is a battle that they are in, whether they know it or not, they are on the side of evil.
